We’re thrilled to announce that there will be a joint Summer Games in partnership with Special Olympics of Louisiana. The Summer Games have moved to Hammond, LA on the campus of Southeastern Louisiana University and will take place May 22-24.

Team Mississippi is on the road to the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games — where determination, courage, and unity will take center stage. Hosted in Minneapolis–Saint Paul, the Games will bring together thousands of athletes from across the nation to showcase the power of inclusion through sport.

Our Mississippi athletes are training hard to represent our state with pride, heart, and perseverance. Every stride, every throw, every finish line crossed tells a story of resilience and community.
